Have I mentioned that I am a private person on Facebook and IG? I only post to friends and know everyone on my list. I am not remotely an influencer, however “Amy” is. She has a public persona as a food influencer and a large social media following that is public on multiple platforms. AKA, all her words about me went to a large audience. At the time she was also involved in a well known scandal with her former employer – a food based magazine and now formerly popular youtube show. People were deeply invested and sharing her social media posts with her first and last, her @ and image all over reddit and imgur. Comments accusing her of a witch hunt, misuse of the term “abuse” and ‘gaslight”, being toxic and embarrassingly unprofessional. My favorite was the person who said something along the lines of “if everyone around you is “toxic” you should realize you’re the problem”

Perhaps you’re wondering if i was involved in any of these posts? The answer is no. As I said earlier, I was not following twitter posts or various scandals at the time, nor did I have a reddit account. I found all of this after finding out she had been talking about me on social media.

I mention this to point out she is a public figure with a clearly documented history of publicly posting not just about me, but about multiple other people. The comments really show I am not the only one who feels her posts are uncalled for and essentially bullying.
